LISA Origliasso — one half of The Veronicas — has married her long-term partner Logan Huffman in a stunning ceremony in Queensland.
The singer, 33, shared a black and white photo from the day on her Instagram, describing her new husband as “the man of my dreams”.
Origliasso wore a wedding dress created by Australian designer J’Aton Couture, which she told Vogue was inspired by both her “French and Italian ancestries” and the dress worn in 1937 by American actor Wallis Simpson at her wedding to the former King Edward VIII.
“For my wedding dress I wanted to embody the romance period of the Victorian era, yet still have the forward graces of the ’30s and ’40s,” Origliasso told the publication.
“We loved the idea of my waist being the focus and decided we wanted the dress to have a shape that was timeless and structured without embellishments.”
She accessorised with white vintage leather gloves from the 1930s, Charlotte Olympia shoes and a headpiece “which took reference from the Elizabethan era reimagined with intricate leather flowers.”
Her twin sister, Jessica, was a bridesmaid.
Origliasso has been dating Huffman, 28 — who is a triplet — since 2014. The American actor proposed to his girlfriend in late 2016.
“A month ago he burnt a bloodsucking leech off me while we were camping in the middle of the Queensland rainforest,” Origliasso said at the time, “then asked me to be with him forever. His love has been life changing.”
