Suspicious fire claims primary school building on Brisbane’s southside


A crime scene has been declared at school on Brisbane’s southside after a suspicious fire ripped through a building overnight.

Police were called to Upper Mount Gravatt State School on Logan Road about 7.17pm on Friday.

The road was closed as emergency services attended, however a building was significantly damaged.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Investigators will return to the scene on Saturday.
