The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) serves as North America’s premier design platform where luxury furniture brands showcase their latest achievements as well as classics. The 30th edition of the prestigious trade show is set to occur from 20-23 May at the Javits Center, in Manhattan. ICFF 2018 is bound to provide an international platform for luxury design seekers to revel and further their business and knowledge.
As it happened for the past 29 years, ICFF will map the newest frontier of what’s best and what’s next in the design industry. For four days, the deluxe fair attracts more than 36,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, representatives, distributors, facility managers, developers, manufacturers, store designers, and visual merchandisers.
Exhibitors from more than 30 countries will come to ICFF to present the best furnishings, lighting designs, carpets, flooring, textiles, wallcoverings, accessories, and elements related to kitchen and bathroom design. In addition to manufactured products, there is a wide range of bespoke furniture, lighting and finishes.
The 2018 Editor’s Awards will be presented on May 20th with a stellar judge panel from some of the world’s best magazines, including Madeline O’Malley from Architectural Digest and Annie Block from Interior Design Magazine. The judge will be deciding the very best achievements of the year in 10 categories (Furniture, Seating, Carpet and Flooring, Lighting, Outdoor Furniture, Wall Coverings, Accessories, Galleries / Artists, Kitchen and Bath, and School)
This year, the fair will include a new feature, Handmade in Germany World Tour, which will showcase a wide variety of masterworks from 180 German artisans, designers and manufacturers. Recurring exhibition such as the Milk Stand by Design Milk and the ICFF Gallery will make their return. Visitors can also expect to see a nomadic exhibition regarding the heart of le French Design, and several other surprises, bound to provide the ultimate design experience.
