Goldstein stays at North Melbourne after signing three-year deal

Todd Goldstein has turned down an offer to join Geelong and has re-signed with North Melbourne.

The former All-Australian ruckman who has enjoyed a return to career-best form this year and has recommitted to the Roos on a three-year deal that will most likely see the 31-year-old see out his career at Arden Street.

Goldstein had been courted by St Kilda with a significant offer but turned that offer down. The Cats had remained in the picture by offering him a three-year deal.

North had initially been reluctant to offer a 31-year-old a deal as long as three years but agreed to the terms and Goldstein recommitted.
